Loïc Delanghe

Loïc is a lawyer with proven experience and a keen interest in commercial, intellectual property and IT related topics. Loïc graduated from UCLouvain and obtained an additional master in ICT law from the University of Namur and the University of Oslo. He also attended the master of IP & ICT law organised by KU Leuven.

Loïc gained several years’ experience in different law firms and as inhouse counsel before joining PwC Legal. In recent years, he has been invited on several occasions to deliver academic lectures and training courses on media law and data protection.

As a certified privacy professional and qualified lawyer, Loïc has developed an expertise in data protection related issues. He has advised both public and private clients in various sectors, including automotive, fashion, health and telecom.

In the field of intellectual property, Loïc is recognised as a ‘Trademark and Design Attorney’ by the EUIPO. He advises his clients on the protection of their intangible assets and helps them to achieve an optimal level of protection. He represents them in their proceedings before the various intellectual property offices as well as before the courts. He also drafts contracts enabling his clients to acquire or transfer their intellectual property rights.

In the field of IT and IT licences, Loïc assists both software providers and users with regard to their rights, and assists them to conclude contracts (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, SLAs, etc.). Loïc has also acted in several cases on the licensing of rights of use acquired by a public authority within the framework of public procurement.

Loïc is fluent in French, English and Dutch.
